With pre-season not far away City Ladies are delighted to announce that we have made two new appointments for Reserve team manager and Development Squad Manager and assistant. Due to work commitments, City say goodbye to outgoing manager Luke Ogilvie. We wish him all the best for the future.

Taking up the reigns of the Reserve team will be Angela Willoughby, who previously was the manager of Rochdale Ladies in the Northern division and steered them to another season in the Northern with games to spare.

In charge of the Development Squad, now in their second year, is former Rochdale defender Claire Harrop who will be assisted by Mark Chrisofos who moves up from our youth section.

First team manager Leigh Wood commented “I'm delighted to welcome both Ang and Claire to Manchester City Ladies. They bring a great wealth of knowledge and experience of the women's game with them, which we hope will help the club in its quest to keep moving forward both on and off the pitch. I'm looking forward to having a good working relationship with both, in what we hope will be another successful season for Manchester City Ladies.”
